一、because of意为“因为，因为”，一般用语，比其它短语更口语化;组成的短语在句子中通常作状语，通常不作表语用;若引导表语，主语通常应为代词。后面可接名词、代词、分词或what引导的名词性从句等。
Sampras is likely to miss the US Open because of his back 。(置于句后作状语)
Because of my bad leg ,I couldn’t walk so fast as the ，我不能像其它人走得那么快。(置于句首做状语，但用逗号和其它部分分开)
Because of his wife’s being there, I said nothing about ，我对此事只字未提。(接-ing分词短语)
He realized that she was crying because of what he had 。(接what从句)

二、due to“因为，因„造成”，根据传统语法：due to关键引导表语，不过在当代英语中，due to也可用来引导状语(此时不用于句首)，也可作定语。 His illness is due to bad 。

另：“Due to”means "cause by", It should only be used if it can be substituted with "caused by". It does not mean the same thing as "because of ",

以后再碰到due to只要把它换成我们熟悉的caused by就清楚多了。
注意：due to除可表示原因外，还有“应给于，应属于”的意思。
