This studyexplores thesocialcriticism inJackKerouac’s works by studying social context athistime,New Vision—the guidance of Kerouac’S literarypractice,hispersonal experiences andhissubversive writing style. Kerouac’s social es into being in the period of“latecapitalism,’’labeledbyconsumerism,conformism,Cold War and anxiety about thetensions between a prosperous economy and aspiritual bareness gives thebirth ofKerouac,s ,we should not neglect that Kerouac’s personal experiences help him withthedevelopment ofsocial French—Canadian working—class background determines hislifelong love and care forthemarginalized people;his first touch withJazzprovokes hisinterestinsubculture;the meeting withthe early Beatshelps him setup thegoal ofhisliterarypractice—...realizing New Visioninart;his roadlifewithNealCassady encourages him tofind IT—truth oflife;hisencountering withZenBuddhism partlychanges his world views.
