回顾近几年的翻译题目，我们清楚地看到，要想顺利通过高等学校英语应用能力考试中翻译部分的测试，考生平时必须不断积累：
　　一是在体裁方面，要能看懂适当的时事政治用语、科技用语和日常广告用语;
　　二是在语言方面，要求译文能体现出是一个完整句子或段落，并注意体现出原句的固定搭配、时态、语态和语气;
　　三是在内容方面，要求译文准确、完整，不能有随意添加或遗漏，特别是广告段落，在译文中一定体现出广告的宣传效应，即要介绍商品又要用词精炼，以求达到最好的经济效果;
　　四是考生一定要注意字体整洁，流畅。在计算机广为普及的今天，也许人们平时很少再注意自己的英文手写体了，从而造成目前主观题试卷译文字迹潦草、模糊不清、字体不规范。然而，这些原因同样会使考生的翻译部分丢分。
