ABSTRACT

Catalytic dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone
which is a important industrial reaction for the manufacture of
caprolactam, which is used as a material for synthesis of
nylon .Besides, cyclohexanone is also widely used as an organic
solvent ,and for the synthesis of rubber and industrial paint .It plays an
important role in the fine chemical and petrochemical industries. The
process of catalytic dehydrogenation has many advantages such as
fewer side reaction, easier operation, higher yield and more safe.
Wherefore, dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone is
used in industrial commonly. To empolder a serials of catalytic
dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol with high efficiency and economical
is the pivotal technic.
A new type of catalyst Cu/ZrO2 in the paper was prepared from
the solution of Cu(NO3)2 , of which n(Zr) :n(Cu)is(1~
4):1 and by using NaOH(w=15%)as the precipitant through
co-precipitation method. The catalyst was used in the dehydrogenation
of cyclohexnol to synthesize cyclohexanone. The optimized
preparation condition for the catalyst[n(Zr):n(Cu)=2:1,the initial
C(Zr)=·L-1 ,roasting time = 5h,roasting temperature = 400℃
and the end point of titration pH = 12]was investigated by orthogonal
experiment(L45). The yield and selectivity of the reaction were
measured in the dehydrogenation process at different pre-treatment
condition of catalyst and reaction temperature. The results show that,
at the optimized conditions of catalyst preparation and reaction, the
yield of cyclohexanone can be reached to 85% and the selectivity is
nearly 100%.
