Nicodemus
The story Dr. King es from John Chapter 3 of the New Testament. The first few lines run like this:
There was a man of Pharisees(古代犹太法利赛教派的教徒(该派标榜墨守传统礼仪,《圣经》中称他们为言行不一的伪善者) )named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi (犹太学者,法师), we know that you are a e from God; for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
