The presentation stage is to present the new language to the students in meaningful contexts and make sure they understand what it means and how it is used.

The practice stage is for the students to practise this new language, first in a very controlled way and gradually adding more of their own language to it.

teacher: more than one role.
In the ppp modle, the teacher serves as a
demonstrator during the presentation stage.
During the practice stage, the teacher may be an
instructor, manager or monitor.
During production, roles such as prompter,resource
and evaluator may be most appropriate.

When an activity is succesful…
1. All students participate, not just a few.
2. Students are motivated, eager to speak and share.
3. Student's English is reasonably accurate and fluent. They make use of new expressions.

What you can do
1. pre-activity: Make sure the students are prepared for any difficulties with language in the activity.
Let them know what is expected of them.
Give clear and specific instructions and demostration. Don't forget competition rules( all participate fluncy sounds timing)

Post -activity: You provide feedback,positive reinforcement and correction(self correction, peer correction and teacher correction)
