本节教学是九年级第六单元When was it invented? ，它们的发明时间、被什么人发明及其作用或发展等内容;从语言结构上，需要学****被动语态的过去时。而本课通过阅读进一步学****中国传统发明——茶。学****茶的发明、发展、传播。一般过去时的被动语态也被巧妙运用到阅读文中。本课是一节阅读与口语课，需要学生在阅读之后抓住大意、掌握重要信息。同时通过阅读训练，进一步加深对目标语言的理解和运用。本节课符合学生认知特点，读→说→练→结。
学情分析
前两课时学生已熟练掌握了一般过去时的被动语态，在本课教学过程中，通过阅读训练，在真实语言环境中进一步加深对目标语言的理解和运用。注重启发引导，培养学生快速阅读的能力、概括能力同时，更注重教学方法的灵活性，通过任务型教学法，情景交际法，小组合作学****法等，激发学生学****的兴趣，让学生乐于接受，易于接受。
