After several months’ writing, finally, I finish this thesis. My deepest gratitude goes first and
foremost to Professor Yin Su and Zhao Wenjing, my supervisors, for their constant encouragements and
guidance. Without their consistent and illuminating instruction, this thesis could not have reached its
present form.
In the meantime, my thanks would also go to my beloved family for their considerations and
great confidence in me all through these years. Moreover, I also owe my sincere gratitude to my team
members and my fellow classmates who gave me their hands in helping me work out my problems during
the difficult translation course of the thesis.
摘 要
本篇是拉尔夫·法索尔德（Ralph Fasold）所著《社会语言学》第二章“言语交际
民俗学”的翻译实践报告。该书由七人翻译小组合作完成，其中笔者翻译的第二章有一
万多字，符合毕业论文对长度的要求。
该章节主要讲述了不同语言社团间有着不同的言语规则，该言语交际民俗学研究
中，作者首先解释了该章节中的三个基本概念：言语社团；场景、活动、事件、和行为；
交际民俗学研究模式。其中对“言语交际
