Abstract
Shijing is the first anthology poetry in Chinese literature. Shijing not only creates SiYan
writing format, but also provides the specific art images, laying a solid foundation for the
poems lyricism poems. Beside the artistic and language value of the Shijing, its value of music
is should not be ignored. Musical value of Shijing mainly are performed by the combination of
dance and song. In addition , social value, cultural value, literature and historical value can be
present in the Shijing. The first version of Shijing appeared in 18C. During the three hundred
years, Shijing has been translated into several languages, becoming a shared cultural legacy of
human beings.
In Shijing’s poems, the rang of themes is widely, including the historical theme, people's
daily life theme, and aspects of society themes. Among of them, the “love” is one of the key
theme. The love is the eternal theme. As long as love exists, love will be the objective pursued
by all the people. The love poems occupy a large percentage in the anthology, vividly
reflecting the love of pre-Qin people.
The text recommends the theory of Gestalt and analysis the Xu’s version images
reconstructing strategies, discussing the combination possibility of Gestalt theory and Shijing
translating. Applying the Gestalt principles to the images reconstruction strategies, discussing
whether the principle could be adapted, making the version better, and supporting the
imagination space to reader. Under the limitation of the difference of culture and language
habit, Xu’s version adapted his “three beauty theory”, which are adapted in the practical
