Abstract: The study analyzed metals (Zn, Cu,Cr, ans and diseases related to cardiovascular,
As) content in vegetables of vegetable bases of kidney, bone, etc., and can even cause cancer
Lanzhou City. Metals content in Solanum owing to excessive heavy metal accumulation in
tuberosum, Solanum lycopersicum, Solanum human body according to previous research
melongena, Capsicum annuum, Vigna sinensis, (Zheng et al. 2008).
Brassica oleracea, and Allium fistulosum of Accumulation of heavy metals and metalloids
vegetable bases of Lanzhou City showed in agricultural soils is of increasing concern due to
significant difference. Overall, the highest content its detrimental effects on human health and soil
of Zn was found in Allium fistulosum, and the ecosystems. Soil-to-plant transfer of heavy metals
lowest was in Solanum
