内容提要

艾萨克·巴什维斯·辛格是二十世纪著名的美国籍犹太小说家，《童爱》作为
辛格用第一人称创作的佳作，描写了青年犹太作家艾伦坎坷的成长经历和心路历
程。本文从成长小说角度对辛格的《童爱》进行解读，从人物塑造、结构模式和
成长主题三个层面来论证其作为成长小说所具有的特征，揭示以艾伦为代表的犹
太青年人面临的成长困惑，并探求主人公获得成长的原因。本文旨在通过对主人
公的成长分析，指出犹太青年人应回归犹太传统，才能真正认识自我；并且呼吁
现代人应坚守信仰，树立正确的道德观念；最后，成长分析也为今后对辛格和《童
爱》的研究开拓了新的视角。

Synopsis

Issac Bashevis Singer is the famous American Jewish writer in the twentieth
century. Shosha is an excellent work that is written in first-person narration. The
dissertation attempts to interpret Shosha from the perspective of the initiation story. It
demonstrates that Shosha is a typical initiation story from the perspective of
characters，structure and themes. It reveals the Jewish young people’ s confusion in
initiation and explores how Aaron gets mature. The dissertation aims at pointing out
that the Jewish young people should return to the Jewish tradition to understand their
