Hero Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was the deputy sheriff ofa small town in Atlanta suburb. In the process of performing official duties, Rick was shot and seriously wounded, then he was taken toa local hospital for emergency treatment. During a, the outside world was attacked by zombies. After Rick woke up, he quickly returned home to find his wife Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and son Carl. However, they and their neighbors were all missing. Rick was under the zombie' attack, a black father and his son (Morgan and Duane) hiding in the neighbor's house saved him.
