摘要 从古至今，园林绿化思想一直渗透在城市的发展与建设中， 随着经济的
发展和人们生活水平的提高，园林绿化更加受到人们的重视。因为其不仅是为城
市增加生机与活力，供人们休闲、游憩、观赏，更为城市的绿色发展增加色彩，
为城市的特色风貌建设增添浓厚的底蕴，带给人们良好的环境和健康的身心，让
我们更好的为城市的建设做出自己的贡献。本文主要从园林绿化在城市建设中的
功能和作用，提出绿化与城市建设的关系，并以西安为例进一步说明两者在实际
中的应用。
