1、课程性质
《现代大学英语听力》是英语专业的学科B类专业实践课程、必修课程。
2、课程的地位和作用
《现代大学英语听力》是英语专业的核心课程。它通过循序渐进地对学生进行全
面的、严格的基本听力训练，帮助学生掌握听力基本技能，传授学生英语基础知
识，让学生树立正确科学的听音方法。
（一）、教学对象：高职学院英语专业学生
（二）、教学目的
《现代大学英语听力》课程是为英语专业学生学习其它专业课程打好基础及在听
力方面用英语无障碍交流的一门基础课程，是一门培养学生听力能力的课程。听
力是英语四项基本技能之一。本课程的任务是通过多种形式、多种内容的课堂教
学与学生的课外学习和实践活动相结合，使学生的听力能力由初等水平逐渐提高
到中高级水平，同时也为培养学生的英语交际能力奠定一个良好的基础。
（三）、教学要求
1．在教学过程中，要始终坚持以“听”为主的原则，要让学生慢慢学会在听的
过程中去获取语言的信息，而不能先读书面材料再听录音。只有坚持不看材料先
听录音才是训练听力的正确途径。
2．指导学生加强课外听力训练，养成收听收看英语广播电视的习惯。鼓励学生
阅读有关英语国家社会文化的书籍，为听力训练做必要的背景知识准备。
3．指导学生带着问题去听，即抓紧练习前和两个练习之间的间隔，事先浏览下
一个练习所提的问题，这样就能知道在听的过程中要抓住和记下哪些要点和关键
词，以便有目标地寻找答案，集中注意力搜寻我们需要的信息。
前导课程：初高中英语
后续课程：翻译、写作、英语演讲等
在学生提高听力水平的同时能帮助他们提高英语翻译和写作技能，更能增加他们
的演讲技巧。该课程共开设四学期，每周开课2学时，共134学时。其中，第一学期开课16
周，共32学时；第二、三、四学期各开课17周，共102学时。四学期共开课
134课时，其中实践课100学时，理论课34学时。
第一学年：教学内容：6学时

Task 7. The following passage tells about the University Entrance Exams
in Japan.
Task 8. This is an introduction to a school.
Task 9. This is an introduction to a language school in London.
Task 10. This is a school for the EFL students.
Task 11. This short passage is an introduction about Cindy Farrow, a girl
from California.
