摘要
自八十年代以来,“张爱玲热”不断升温,张爱玲的文学作品也同步引起了
电影导演的注意,八十年代就有三部张爱玲的小说被改编成电影,目前为止则
共有六部作品被搬上大银幕,然而对于改编效果褒贬不一,大都不尽如人意。
本文试图通过考察张爱玲小说的电影改编,分析改编过程中的得与失,从而发
现导致效果不佳的原因,希望能够为今后的改编者提供一定的借鉴。
本文认为张爱玲小说改编成电影后的效果不佳并非因其不适合改编成电
影,相反,张爱玲的作品不断地被改编恰恰说明其小说有适合改编的因素。然
而张爱玲作品中所渗透的极致的个人风格使得改编具有相当的难度。所以,改
编者在改编之前应对张爱玲及其作品进行深度解读,而若改编者与张爱玲在精
神气质、审美境界等方面具有一定相似之处,则会对改编有着推进作用。
目前已有五位导演将张爱玲的小说改编成了电影,其中许鞍华改编了两部
作品,本文通过对许鞍华及其改编自张爱玲小说的两部电影的考察,通过小说
与电影之间的比较分析、两部改编电影之间的比较分析,认为改编张爱玲的作
品仅仅忠于人物、情节等表面客观逻辑表述是远远不够的,更要忠实原著中的
神韵、风格、灵魂等主观思想含蕴,否则会失却张爱玲原作的韵味,对改编效
果产生很大的负面影响,另外,导演个人风格的融入与演员的选择也会对改编
效果有一定的影响。

ABSTRACT
Since the 1980s, Ms. Zhang Ailing’s novels are ing more and more popular,
and they also draw a lot of attention from the movie directors. In the 1980s, three of
Ms. Zhang’s novel has been adapted for the cinema, and up to now, totally there are
six movies developed from her works. Unfortunately, most of Ms. Zhang’s novel
adaption are not very essful and draw a lot of criticism. In this thesis, we try to
analyze the ess and failure during the novel adaption, hope to find the reason that
incurs the essful of the movies, and provide useful references for the later
novel adaption.
The essful of Ms. Zhang’s novel adaption does not mean her novel are not
suitable for movie adaption, on the contrary, Ms. Zhang’s novels are adapted
constantly,which means her novels are good candidates for the movies. However, the
extreme personal style embedded in her novels makes the adaption very difficult.
Consequently, the adapter should deeply study Ms. Zhang’s works before starting the
adaption. It will be beneficial if the adapter can have similar spirit and taste as Ms.
Zhang.
