大力推进学校文化建设，营造学校文化的绿洲，让文化充溢在校园生活中，让学校生活彰显文化的意蕴，让师生得到文化的浸润，促进学校内涵发展。对学校的门、廊、栏、壁、坛等进行全面规划和设计，充分体现时代特征和学校特色，努力营造渗透科学精神和人文精神的、温馨和谐的校园物质文化氛围，让学生置身其中，耳濡目染，潜移默化地受到文化的浸润。精心制作学校配套标识，添置一些宣传栏及标语牌，给每幢教学楼命名，在校门上方竖立书法特色学校创建标牌；加强

“书香班级”、“文化办公室”和“教师书吧” 建设，努力凸显“书香校园”底色；开展农村书法特色学校创建工作，打造“翰墨校园”；组建荪湖学生社团，开展文学采风与创作活动，编撰校园《荪湖文学》期刊；加强校园网站建设，丰富网站内容，提高教育宣传品位和学校美誉度，提升校园文化内涵。
