spend “花费”，其主语通常为人，既可指花费时间，也可花费金钱，结构为：
人 + spend + some time/money on sth
某人花费时间/金钱做某事。
sb. + spend + time/money (in) doing sth
Every student spends two hours (in) doing his homework every day. =Every student spends two hours on his homework every day
cost “花费，值”，其主语通常为物，结构为：
sth. cost (sb. )some money 某物花费(某人)钱
The pen cost me ten yuan.
The book cost twenty yuan.
pay“花费，支付，付钱，买单”，其主语通常为人
人 pay money for sth. 某人花费了钱买某物。
She paid 350 yuan for the new watch.
