文档介绍:Abstract The international harmonization for the protection of intellectual property has been introduced and developed with the growth of economic globalization. Since the later 19`h century, along with the highly development of the world economy, trade, science and technology, a dozens of new international conventions and treaties with respect to the intellectual property have been introduced, and more and more countries became the member of the group to harmonize the protection of intellectual property. The level of protection for the intellectual property, therefore, has been improved in many countries. Under the framework of the World Trade Organization (the "WTO"), the execution of Agreement on the Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Right (the "TRIPS"), in particular, has promoted the protection of intellectual property to a new level. In this article, the author explores the international harmonization for the protection of intellectual property in whole through theoretical analysis prehensive comparison. In the first part, the article begins with an introduction to the basic concept and characteristics of intellectual property, and briefly describes the establishment of system on the intellectual property as well as the history and development of the international harmonization for the protection of intellectual property. In this part, the international political and economical factors resulting to the execution of TRIPS are deeply analyzed.
