This article isdivided into three parts;include theintroduction,body and introduction introduces Howarffs lifeand academic experience as wellasdomestic and foreign scholars on itstheory body part has three chapters,the firstchapter introduces hisearly lifeand hisinterestinurbanissues,the focus ofhisresearch hasexperienced ashiftfrom rural second chapter discusses his Garden citytheory andurbantheory,that Howard summarize the ontological framework ofsocialreform,including rentproblem and socialattributes. Then we discussed theextension ofhisconcept tmrd chapter discusses Howard’S theory influences the followed researchers,giving US some inspirations about contemporary urbanization. Although theurban theory ofHoward eme赡ed inlastcentury,but thebright spot initstheory isbeneficial toChina’ are stillmany tolearn from,SO takethe initiative toactively digestabsorption forthe construction ofChina's urbantheory ishelpful.
