Methods A total of 500 syphilis samples were inspected by ELISA and TRUST , and their detection e pared. Results ELISA showed higher serum positive rate than TRUST ( P< ), and its sensibility , specificity , negative and positive predictive value were all higher than those of TRUST ( P< ). Conclusion Due to high accuracy in syphilis detection , ELISA is suitable for large sample screening. 【 Key words 】 Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ; Toluidine red unheated serum reagin test ; Syphilis ; Comparison 梅毒属于性传播疾病的一种, 随着我国改革开放的发展, 婚育观念的变化, 梅毒发生率呈现明显增高的趋势[1, 2]。梅毒是由于梅毒螺旋体感染造成的, 其传播途径可以分为性传播和母婴传播, 妊娠梅毒可能造成流产、死胎、胎儿畸形等严重的并发症, 因而对于梅毒进行快速、准确的诊断成为
