【记忆口诀】
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。
一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t, d, d。
八去t,，九去e, 字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。
遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。

序数词的用法：
1. 序数词要加定冠词the。但当序数词前有物主代词（his, her…）、指示代词（this, that…）等修饰时，则不必再用the。如：
on the third floor 在三楼
on his twelfth birthday 在他十二岁生日这天
2. 序数词常用缩写形式，即“阿拉伯数字+个位序数词的后两个字母”。如：one → 1st; second→2nd; third→3rd; twelfth→12th; twenty-sixth → 26th
3. 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。如:August 17th 8月17日 October 1st 10月1日

询问及回答生日
用句型 When is/are sb’s birthday(s)? 来询问他人的生日。回答时用sb’s birthday(s) is/are (on/in) …或用句型：It’s (on/in) …例如：
—When is your birthday? 你的生日是什么时候？
—My birthday is /It’s August tenth.
我的生日是八月十日。
—When is Jane’s birthday? 简的生日是什么时候?
—Her birthday is /It’s on January twelfth.
她的生日是一月十二日。
