The Nanjing 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games mittee (YOGBC) is an independent legal entity. The YOGBC is responsible for designing the general programmes for the 2014 YOG, and these programmes embody the joint vision and creativity of people of all walks of life in Nanjing.
The prises leading members from the State Sport General Administration of China, the Chinese mittee (COC), the Jiangsu Provincial Government and related institutions, and the Nanjing Municipal Government and related institutions.
Under the YOGBC are seven departments: Press and Publicity, External Relations, Culture & Education, Secretariat, Sports, Venues & Facilities, and Logistics.
The following diagram shows the structure of the YOGBC, with its departments and the functions to be fulfilled by specified government departments:
