【Abstract】 Objective To study the efficacy of small incision cataract extraction for acute angle-closure
glaucoma combined with cataract. Methods A total of 84 patients (84 eyes) with acute angle-closure glaucoma
and cataract were divided into control group and observation group according to different surgical methods, each
with 42 cases (42 eyes). The control group was treated with trabeculectomy combined with cataract extraction, and
the observation group was treated with small incision cataract extraction. The related indicators (visual acuity,
intraocular pressure, anterior chamber depth) before and after surgery, clinical efficacy and complications were
compared between the two groups. Results After surgery, the visual acuity (±), anterior chamber depth
(±) mm of the observation group were higher than (±), (±) mm of the control group,
and the intraocular pressure (±) mm Hg (1 mm Hg= kPa) was lower than (±) mm Hg
of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<). The total effective rate of treatment
% in the observation group was higher than % in the control group, and the difference was statistically
significant (
