服务三农解民忧。2013年，养殖大户段启红面临父母重病用去所有积蓄、女儿即将高考和养殖资金短缺的三重困难，×××同志得知后，主动向镇党委汇报，为其解决帮扶资金1000元，他个人又出资1000元，帮其渡过难关。段启红在感谢信中说：“决心克服困难，把种养殖业做大做强，感恩共产党，回报社会”。
×××同志在践行党的群众路线教育实践活动中，服务“三农”，他于2014年5月12日，在×××白鹤观村调研种养殖大户时，得知该村五组翠袁养鸡场，原计划在现已养有麻羽绿壳鸡2000多只的基础上，想再扩大养殖规模，但因当前正处于资金紧缺、成片西瓜地又遭病虫害袭击、鸡蛋销售难的困难时期，而无法投资扩大规模，为支持种养殖大户上规模，×××同志为其申请贷款，并庚即联系镇分会副主任、高级农艺师张文江对西瓜病虫害进行技术指导，遏制了西瓜病虫害的扩散漫延。而对产品滞销问题，他为其排忧解难，帮助其注册商标，并积极主动为其联系销路，业主贾翠蓉夫妇感激地说：“感谢×××党委政府给我们派来了好干部，帮助我们度过了困境，今后我们一定要感恩，回报社会”。×××同志，退休不退岗，多年来，为“五老”工作默默地奉献，保持了共产党人的本色，不愧为我镇群众身边最美党员。
