退役士兵入伍时是普通高等学校在校学生或者被录取并保留入学资格，退出现役后不复学的，其安置地为入学前户口所在地。
第十二条退役士兵有下列情形之一的，可以易地安置，享受与安置地退役士兵同等安置待遇：
（一）服现役期间父母双方或者一方户口所在地变更的，可以在父母双方或者一方现户口所在地安置；
（二）符合部队有关现役士兵结婚规定且结婚满2年的，可以在配偶或者配偶父母户口所在地安置；
（三）因其他特殊情况，由部队师（旅）级单位出具证明，经省级以上人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门批准易地安置的。
第十三条退役士兵有下列情形之一的，根据本人申请，经省人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门批准，可以按照有利于退役士兵生活的原则确定其安置地：
（一）因战致残的；
（二）服现役期间平时荣获二等功以上奖励或者战时荣获三等功以上奖励的；

（三）是烈士子女的；
（四）父母双亡的。
第十四条退役士兵在市州行政区域内易地安置的，由市州人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门审批；跨市州行政区域易地安置的，由省人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门审批。
第十五条自主就业的退役士兵应当自批准退出现役之日起30日内，持退出现役证件、部队介绍信到安置地县级人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门报到。
安排工作的退役士兵自批准退出现役之日起60日内，持接收安置通知书、退出现役证件和部队介绍信到规定的安置地人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门报到。接收安置通知书由省人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门统一签发。
退休、供养的退役士兵到规定的安置地人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门报到后，由安置地人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门移交给相应的服务管理机构。
第十六条退役士兵档案由所在部队团级以上单位移交给安置地人民政府退役士兵安置工作主管部门。退役士兵档案由退役士兵携带的，退役士兵安置工作主管部门可以拒收。
