工业方面： 100万吨焦炭、3×15兆瓦发电清洁型焦电技改项目开工建设，完成龙场110千伏变电站建设、龙场至三河35KV输电线路、三河变电站、李贞二回龙场至贞丰110KV输电线路建设。
城建方面：依靠交通区位优势，充分发挥自身特点，以投入促发展，以管理促提高，城镇面貌有了较大改善。以“政府投资、社会融资、农民带资、招商引资”为主体，本着“分批建设、滚动发展”的路子，完善了两个移民区的建设，对街道道路进行了硬化，改善了以水、电、路为重点的基础设施建设；完成了老农贸市场的搬迁和划行规市工作，建设了龙场集镇休闲广场，对全镇的路灯进行了改造。新建了镇法庭、镇派出所、镇司法所、文化站、社区活动室等办公场所。在城镇管理上对脏、乱、差现象进行了集中整治，城镇面貌基本达到了“干静、整洁、卫生、绿化、美化、亮化”的目标。，2010年城镇化水平达到29%。
