What kind of music do you know about ? What is your favorite kind of music ? Can you play a musical instrument? Music can bring us great pleasure. It can be played using many different kinds of musical instruments. guitar cello The following questions may help you. 1. What are the people doing in each picture? are the characteristics of each musical style ? do you know about Chinese and Western opera? Music is more than just sound---it isa way of thinking! When we listen to music, sing and dance, or play an instrument, we are also ing thinkers. Music intelligence is one of our human intelligence. In the past, the great violinists played the violin as well as writing music for the instrument. After the 19th century, composers and violinists started to be two different roles. The most famous posers and players are Corelli, Vivaldi, Locatelli and later Paganini, Sarasate, Wieniawski, Vieuxtemps, Ysave, Kreisler and Enesco. The piano belongs to the percussion family of instruments. It consists ofa
