1．消费水平
从总体上看，高校大学生消费水平在静态上可以划分为高消费、 大学生消费水平统计表
低消费三个档次。根据以往的调查将消费水平做如下区分：高消费为每月600元以上、中层消费为每月250~600元、低消费为每月250元以下调查说明，每月消费在600元以上，%；消费在250~600元，%；消费在250元以下，%。大局部学生的消费水平属于中等消费。需要说明的是，在高消费的学生群体中已经出现了每月上千元消费的学生，而在低档消费型学生中也有每月在150元以下的，数量是4个，%。换言之，在大局部消费合理的大学生中有极端的现象出现，有少局部高消费学生和少数低消费学生。
2．消费结构
消费结构是消费方式研究中的一个重要内容，我们结合调查学校大学生消费的实际情况，重点考察了以下几个方面：饮食〔包括吃饭、买零食等，但不包括请客吃饭〕、服装支出、手机花费支出、一次性消费支出以及谈恋爱支出等。
