构成副词的常用后缀
1.-ly 用于形容词之后表示方式或程度。
hurried →hurriedly 匆忙地
personal→ personally 个人地
angry→ angrily生气地
terrible →terribly可怕地,极
一般直接在形容词后加-ly;但以“辅音字母+y”结尾的,要改y为i,再加ly;以ble结尾的,变ble为bly;另外,true→ truly(真实地)。

2.-ward(s)朝……,向……
back→ backwards 向后
up→ upwards 向上
out→ outwards 向外
3 –wide 用于名词之后表范围。
nation→ nationwide 全国性地
world → worldwide 全世界地
4.-ways附在名词或形容词之后表示方向。
sideways向旁边地
lengthways纵向
5.-wise表示方向、位置、状态或样子。
otherwise 在其他方面;要不然,否则anticlockwise 逆时针方向
