Abstract
[Objective] The ami w as to study the effect of different kinds o fexogenous auxin on the grow th of rice roots under cadm ium stress.
[M ethod] O ryza sa tiva L. cv Zhonghua No. 11 w as used as expermi ental materials to detect the e ffect of different kinds of exogenous auxin on
the grow th of rice roots. [ R esult] The results show ed that0. 1mm ol/L Cd treatmentcould notonly increase prmi ary, adventitious and latera l root
length but also lateral root number, w hereas the shoot grow th was inhib ited. W hen supplemented w ith different concentrations o fNAA, IAA, IBA
and 2, 4
