Results:Self-efficacy of gout patients was negatively correlated with pain catastrophization and global pain

（P < ）.There is a partial mediating effect between self-efficacy and global pain assessment（β = -,
P < ）。Conclusion:The self-efficacy of gout patients can indirectly affect their global pain assessment
results through pain catastrophization,suggesting that clinical workers should actively take measures to improve
the self-efficacy of gout patients and control the pain catastrophization in time,so as to reduce their global pain.
