Clap their hands and read the chant
Warm up and revise some verbs in simple past form
Presentation
1. Lead in: word-housekeeper Guess what does she do?
(She watched TV yesterday. She cleaned the room yesterday. She worked in a school yesterday. She taught(教)English yesterday.)
First guess the word teacher, then doctor or nurse, the last one is housekeeper.
S Ss guess the jobs by reading the simple past tense sentences and try to pronounce the word housekeeper by looking at the word they already knew-goalkeeper.
