(该句中 it就是指前面的 my umbrella ) I have lost my umbrella; I think I must buy one . ( one 在该句中表泛指, 因为 my umbrella 已经丢了, 相当于 an umbrella ) one 只能代替可数名词单数, 代替复数时用 ones 。 2. interesting 和 interested, exciting 和 excited 的区别。以后缀- ing 结尾的形容词(如 interesting, exciting, moving, surprising, frightening 等)主要用于说明事物, 意为“令人……的”,表示事物的性质或特征。 The story is very interesting . 这个故事很有趣。以后缀-ed 结尾的形容词(如 interested, excited, moved, surprised, frightened 等) 通常用于说明人,意为“感到……的”;不用于说明事物,即使它们所修饰的名词是事物,那它们指的也是与该事物相关的人。 There is a surprised look on his face. 他脸上露出吃惊的表情。 2. interesting 和 interested, exciting 和 excited 的区别。请比较并体会以下句子: He has a frightened look on his face. 他脸上带有惊恐的神情。 He has a frightening look on his face. 他脸上带有吓人的神情。 I read an interested expression on his face. 我看到他脸上露出一种感兴趣的表情。 I read an interesting expression on his face. 我看到他脸上露出一种有趣的表情。 3. through 和 across 的区别。 across 和 through 都可表示“穿过”。
