It is very important for the client and the IBM team to fully understand the current business strategy, the major areas of concern with the current business, the critical processes, readiness for the change and current IT-infrastructure and application portfolio.
In the Business Assess Phase we look at all of these and build a 'Case for Change' that validates the need for the business transformation project.
We also look at the areas of business transformation that the client wishes to address. We then use our business expertise to advise and guide the client in the selection of the best business practices in order to maximize their investment in this transformation initiative.
Particular attention is given to the identification and quantification of business benefits that will be achieved by the implementation of the selected package.
