表示地点的副词和表示位置关系的副词统称为地点副词。
表示地点的：here, there, home, upstairs, downstairs, anywher，强调做事的速度，常用于将来时。
eg: How soon will your mother come back?
你妈妈将什么时候回来？

表示有多远（指距离上的“长度、多远”）如How far is your school?

交通工具
1 . by
①by + 交通工具名词，表示“乘坐”。
如：by bus, by bike, by plane, by train, by car, by taxi, by ship等。
② by + 地理名词。
by sea (从海路)，by air (由航空、坐飞机) 等。
2 . take the/a+交通工具
（take the bus/car）
3 . on+ the /a+ 大型封闭式工具或表示在...上面
（on the bus/ train/ship/plane）

5. 步行去某地
（1）walk to +地点
（2）go to +地点on foot
6. 骑自行车常用on a bike或by bike，而不能用in a bike。

在表示交通工具的名词前若有具体的时刻修饰时，则用介词by或on均可。如： by (on) the 7:00 bus.

across prep. 穿过；横穿 adv. 在对面；横过
cross n. 交叉，十字；十字架，十字形物 vi. 交叉；杂交；横过
动词+across＝cross
cross the road是穿过马路（动作），across the road是方向，意思是“穿过马路”,比如：穿过马路是一个咖啡店
The old man walked across the road。
动词后就不可用cross.=The old man crossed the road.
Be careful when you cross the road。
这里需要用动词，就不可以用aross
