Is: A Lefs learn and lefs talk
Teaching aims:
Master the words: father (dad), mother (mum), man, womad up and say father. Then they exchange their roles.
Point to the picture of the family, say: father is a man, mother is a woman. Learn the words: man and woman.
Put all the pictures on the blackboard. Point to the pictures randomly and let Ss look and say correctly.
Compare six pairs of words: man and woman, father and mother, dad and mum, boy and girl, teacher and student(pupil), he and she. Teacher says one word, the students say the other.
Step3. Activity
Let's chant
Look at the picture of the family again. T: There are 3 people in the family. Father, mother and the son. Try to explain the words: son and family.
Do the action and say: The father is tall, tall, tall. The mother is not so tall. The son is small, small,small.
Listen to the chant. Help Ss to understand the sentence: They are a family, one and all.
Try to chant with the tape.
Chant together with the action.
Step4. Consolidation and extension
Review Lefs learn.
Sing the chant to parents.
Take a family picture in the next class.
Teaching aims:
Master the sentences: Who's that man/woman? He's/ She's my .... And use he, she correctly.
Try to introduce friends and family members, using the sentence: this is my ...
