Use because, since, as to join two sentences:
1. Some children screamed. They were frightened.
2. People ran in all directions. They didn’t know where to go.
3. Some people got hurt. Pieces of glass and bricks fell down.
4. It was dark around me. I could not see at all.
5. I told myself to calm down. I was still alive.
6. I didn’t eat the chocolate all. I knew I might be there for a long time.
