5、术语
本标准采用下列定义：
博物馆：是指征集、收藏、保护、研究、展示人类活动和自然环境的见证物，经过文物行政部门审核、相关行政部门批准，取得法人资格，向公众开放的非营利性社会服务机构。
藏品：是指具有收藏、研究、展示价值的文物、标本、模型等的总称。
藏品库房：是指藏品集中保存的特定建筑物。
藏品保护修复场所：是指博物馆运用传统修复工艺和现代科学技术手段对藏品进行科学分析、检测和保护、修复的特定建筑物。
展厅：是指博物馆用作向公众展示藏品的特定建筑物。
出境展览：是指单独或合作在境外（含港、澳、台地区）举办的展览。
6、博物馆等级及标志
6．1 博物馆划分为三级，从高到低依次为一级、二级、三级博物馆。
