开课学wave and infrared regions of the spectrum. This course will introduce the major techniques of generating, detecting, and applications in THz science fields. According to the characteristic of our subjects, course will mainly introduce the optical tunable THz radiation based on optics, nonlinear optical frequency conversion technology. The contents of course also include the THz principle and key technology of detector, propagation and other function device. The classical THz application will be introduced.
Based on the study of this course, students will grasp basic concepts, theories and key technology that form the foundation for understanding the unique characteristics of THz radiation. The frontier of THz science technology and application will be showed in this course.
