英语句子通常有两种语序:一种是陈述语序,一种是倒装语序。将谓语的一部分或全部置于主语之前的语序叫做倒装语序。而倒装可分为二种:将整个谓语提到主语之前的叫完全倒装;而只将be 、情态动词或者助动词放在主语之前的叫做部分倒装。
一、部分倒装
就是把谓语中的be动词、助动词或情态动词置于主语前面。常见于下列几种情况:
1. only所修饰的副词,介词短语或状语从句放在句首时。注意:only修饰主语时,不需要倒装。
Only then did he find it important to get along with others.
Only in this way can we make great progress.
Only after he came back were you able to see him.
Only in this way ________to make improvement in the operating system.

2. 把副词so放在句首,表示前面所说的情况也适用于另一个人或物。把neither, nor放在句首,表示前面的否定内容也适用于另一个人或物。
I like reading English, so does he.
John won first prize in the contest. ______. (87MET)
A. So he did B. So did he C. So he did, too D. So did he, too.
I like sports and ______ my brother (79MET)
A. so does B. so is C. so D. so like
