高效重金属去除剂EMRA是一种专门针对金属废水的一种含有羟基、羧基、醛基及多功能团的化合物。与重金属废水反应，适用于铜、镍、锌、铅、镉、三价铬等多金属，具有反应迅速、重金属去除率高、投药量小、反应条件温和的特性。

一般使用前需要先将20倍浓缩液进行稀释，稀释成1%-%，然后把稀释好的药剂加到含重金属的废水中，充分搅拌，立即就会出现絮状泥渣，为加速沉淀，可以适量补加铝盐，加速泥渣成渣。一般加药量与废水中金属离子浓度成正比，实验室数据，20mg/l （或10PPM）的金属离子浓度，加入2%的药剂1ml，（），超过国家一级金属离子浓度的达标要求。
