Analysis of metabolic markers in soil with tobacco bacterial wilt based on
metabolomics

Abstract [Objective] This study aims to analyze difference of soil metabolites composition between healthy tobacco field
and field with bacterial wilt, and screen metabolic markers. [Method] By taking the rhizosphere soil of diseased plants and
healthy plants as the research object and using LC-MS / MS analyzing technology of nontargeted metabonomics, the
metabolites composition in rhizosphere soil in three periods was studied. [Result] (1) There were 115, 1 59 and 105
metabolites significantly different between healthy tobacco field and field with bacterial wilt at non -onset, middle onset and
late onset stages, respectively. (2) There were 63 common differential metabolites in the three stages, including 49 p ositive
and 14 negative metabolites. The 49 positive metabolites could b be clustered into two groups and seven subgroups. (3) A
total of 8 metabolic markers were screened, including cyclopamine, maltotetraose, Tricine, khelin, 6 - (alpha-d-
glucosaminyl) - 1D myo inositol, solanidine, belfosdil and silandrone. [Conclusion] There were significant different in the
composition of rhizosphere soil metabolites between healthy and diseased tobacco plants. The 8 metabolic markers screened
out could provide support for the identification of soil infection with tobacco
