1. Our home had little contact with Gentiles. But there were the Gentile washwomen who came to the house to fetch our laundry. My story is about one of these.
The synonyms for fetch?
bring take fetch get carry 都含“拿”、“带”、“取”的意思
bring 指“从别处把东西或人带来”、“拿来”,
