headlamp and fender of a car model, the 3D dimension chain analysis software 3 DCS was used to analyze. The positioning mode, assembly
process, headlamp accuracy and fender stamping accuracy were the main influencing factors. By optimizing the positioning mode, structure and
assembly process of the headlamp, improving the accuracy of the headlamp and the stamping accuracy of the fender, and combining with the
actual vehicle assembly verification, the matching gap between the headlamp and fender is reduced from ± mm to ± mm, which
meets the design requirements of DTS and greatly improves the appearance quality of the whole vehicle.
