解答这一类题的方法是：找出主题句。首先要读标题，因为标题往往是主题句中的核心词或概括性词。主题句一般位于文章或段落的开始。另外，主题句也有可能位于段落的中间（做铺垫----得出结论----补充说明）；主题句还有可能位于段落的末尾（先做铺垫，后下结论）。在解题时，凡是和主题句意思最接近的选项必然是正确答案。概括和归纳主题思想。由于有些短文是从长篇文章中节选的，有时没有明显的主题句，这时就需要考生自己根据每个自然段（尤其是其第一句）归纳概括出主题思想。
