倒装语序
在英语中,主语和谓语的语序通常
是主语在前,谓语在后。但有时为了
语法的需要,或者是为了强调,谓语
的全部或一部分却提到主语前面,
这种语序叫做倒装。
倒装(Inversion)的定义:
,叫全部倒装;

、情态动词或be 动词等放在主语之前, 叫部分倒装:

倒装可分为:

be/助动词/情态动词+主+谓

谓语的单复数,由后面的名词决定

放在句子开头, 表示强调。
▲全倒的句式:地/时词+谓+主(名).

主语是代词时, 不用倒装。
be句型中,be动词可以根据需要换为 stand ,live, lie,exist, happen, seem等表示存在或状态的动词。
1).以前这里住这个老农夫。
There lived an old farmer.
2).从前有座山,
山里有座庙,
庙里有个老和尚给小和尚讲故事,
讲什么故事?
他讲从前有座山,
.......
Long long ago,there was a hill.
In the hill stood a temple.
There lived a old monk telling a story to a little monk.

He told that... ...
Prensent at the meeting was professor White.
全倒3:表语+系动词+主语.
译:(gone)了。
Those days are gone.
全倒
Gone are those days.
