本文主要通过对先秦儒学三位大师孔孟荀音乐思想的分析,对先秦儒音乐思想的
特质及其形态演进予以总体把握与评价。先秦儒学从孔子创立,到荀子集大成,其间
历经三百年左右时间。同儒学的演进一样,先秦儒学音乐思想有一以贯之之处,也有
变异。儒家“音乐”一词等同于儒家“礼乐”一词中“乐”,而儒家“礼乐”思想则
是儒家思想中的重要组成部分。通过分析,我们可以发现先秦儒学三大家的“礼乐”
思想是一个继承发展的历史进程,每个人都有其不同的理论观点。由于先秦儒学三大
家保留历史原貌的音乐作品流传下来的很少,本文试图从他们音乐思想产生的哲学根
源和音乐实践两大基础方面进行探求,进而从音乐审美这一层面对他们的思想进行分
析比较,找出儒家“礼乐”思想历史演进过程中的继承和发展脉络,进而认识到儒家
音乐思想是一个多元文化载体,其与哲学、政治、道德、伦理有着紧密的联系。本文
最后还指出了儒家音乐思想中的两个共同的本质特征,并且对儒家音乐思想与中国古
代音乐思想和音乐发展的关系进行了分析推理。

Abstract
The assessment of the pre-qin dynasty music ideas are mainly based on the analyses
of the music thoughts of three Confucianism masters: Confucius, Mencius and Hsun Tzu.
It takes three hundred years since Confucius firstly created Confucianism to the Golden
Age built by Hsun Tzu. The most ponent of Confucianism is the “ritual
music” which refers to “rites” and “music”. The foundation of "ritual music” ideas are a
history of Inheritance and Development, in which the three masters made contributions
with their different views. As very little of their original music works were handed down,
this paper tries to investigate from two basic aspects: the source of the music philosophy
thought and the music practice so as to make analysis parisons from the level of
aesthetic thought, looking out of the evolution and development thread of the history of
Confucian "ritual music", and discovered that the Confucian thought is a multicultural
carrier who has closed relationship with philosophy, political, moral and ethics. The final
chapter discusses the mon characteristic of Confucianism music, and makes
further research on the reasons why Confucianism music ideas have important impact on
the development the Chinese ancient m
