Introduction of Sunzi
Sun Wu, better known as Sun Tzu or Sunzi.
--- born sometime between 550 and 540 BC, or toward the end of the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC)
--- a native of the State of Qi but later moved to the State of Wu, where he became the king‘s trusted strategist(军事家).
Help Wu State defeated Chu State in west, Yue State in south and both Qi State and Jin State in north, which made Wu e one of the strongest power at that time
Sun Tzu was not only good at the art of war theory, but also good at leading troops

About Sun Tzu’s thought
Stressed the unpredictability of battle, the importance of deception and surprise, the close relationship between politics and military policy, and the high costs of war.
Emphasized the role of situational awareness
“So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled陷于危险in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.”
Championed支持the bloodless victory
“One hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the most skillful. Seizing the enemy without fighting is the most skillful.”
