Windows update or patch
After installing the Microsoft Windows update or patch, you must restart puter, otherwise AutoCAD 2004 may not start or run properly.

If multiple users want to use AutoCAD 2004 on puter running Windows NT 4, you need to update Microsoft Explorer to 6 SP1 version.
Installation error information "mand line parameter""
If with Windows 2000 Service Pack 1, using NTFS formatted drive system and run Novell Client32 Microsoft Windows 2000 system by or Autorun to install AutoCAD 2004, may display the following error message: "mand line parameter error." To correct this problem, please update to the latest version of Novell Client or perform the following installation steps:
1. run \msi\ from AutoCAD 2004 CD and install MSI engine.
2. run from AutoCAD 2004 CD, install AutoCAD 2004.
