近年来,“三农”问题一直是各界人士讨论的热点话题之一,因而备受关注,党和国家也一直强调切实解决好“三农”问题,并在积极探索可行的措施,新农村建设是一种宏观的构想,并在一定地区付诸实践,“生产发展、生活宽裕、乡风文明、村容整洁、管理民主”方针中生产发展是首位的,足见农村经济在新农村建设中的突出地位。农村经济包括农业经济和农村中的非农业经济,它是国民经济的不可或缺的组成部分,本文在分析农村经济的内容、发展现状的基础上,重在展望我国农村经济发展的未来,即如何促进农村经济的可持续发展。

农村经济是指存在并发展于农村中的经济体,包括农业经济和农村中的非农业经济。农村经济以农业经济为主,以农村中的第二产业和第三产业为必要补充,农民是农村的主体,是农村经济发展的有力推动因素。综上所述,农村经济是农村中各种经济经营模式的综合,是国民经济及其发展不可或缺的一部分,在推动我国经济发展进程中发挥着举足轻重的作用,是经济发展的后方保障。

可持续发展系指满足当前需要而又不削弱子孙后代满足其需要之能力的发展。可持续发展还意味着维护、合理使用并且提高自然资源基础,这种基础支撑着生态抗压力及经济的增长。可持续的发展还意味着在发展计划和政策中纳入对环境的关注与考虑,而不代表在援助或发展资助方面的一种新形式的附加条件。农村经济可持续发展的内涵有两个最基本的方面,即:发展与持续性,发展是前提,是基础,持续性是关键,没有发展,也就没有必要去讨论是否可持续了;没有持续性,发展就行将终止。持续性有两方面:首先,自然资源的存量和环境的承载能力是有限的,这种物质上的稀缺性和在经济上的稀缺性相结合,共同构成经济社会发展的限制条件。其次,在经济
